Thomas Edison’s teachers said he was “too stupid to learn anything.” He was fired from his first two jobs for being “non-productive.” As an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. When a reporter asked, “How did it feel to fail 1,000 times?” Edison replied, “I didn’t fail 1,000 times. The light bulb was an invention with 1,000 steps.”
Unless you wish to aspire to the same pain in redundancy, get the lesson of a painful experience as early as possible, and make changes, accordingly. – Bill McCurdy

I’ve always found that my failures weren’t what defined me. Instead if I decided to stay there. My biggest failures helped hurdle me into my biggest triumphs.
Thanks for the post.

This thought is really good as the millennium innovator Thomas Edison is a true inspiration for the innovators and persons with failed attempts to surpass them and achieve success

I started my blog on the basis of how failure is a daily struggle in life and how we can laugh or use it to our best advantage. The quote above fits perfectly with my theme. Love seeing positive thoughts! Thanks for reading and liking one of my posts!

The fear of humiliation is the ego saying, “nothing can stop me in my journey.” Humility is the ego saying, “let me learn from what has stopped me so that I may try a different way on my journey next time.” – My personal embrace of the same lesson from Edison.

Yes, it’s necessary to remember that the fished product went though years of preparation. As a writer, I’m always struggling with the idea that this current draft is perfect, even though I logically know it must be awful compared to whatever the finished product will be.

Thanks for your affirmation of my feeble attempt to do my first blog pages. I must be practicing what Edison said because it took me over 3 hours to create what I wanted to do for my blogging web page and I didn’t give up until I did so! But I was wondering exactly how you got to the page as I tried a Google search for it and that didn’t work! What I think they call an URL did you use to view it? This information would help me a lot so I can tell my friends on Facebook friends page so they could view it as well?

Are you asking how did i view your page?

Yes because I was wondering if WordPress had a free blog host server or does one have to pay them for this service? Did you see my possible domain name in a search engine such as Google? I tried this and it didn’t work for me so I was wondering about this? Is WordPress the best blogg site to use or are there better ones that aren’t very expensive or free to use?

Hey. I found your post to be very positive and inspirational. My biggest challenge or focus to improve my quality of life is to change my perspective and mindset about approaching new challenges, struggles, and opportunities. If we can audit ourselves to see the dialogue we have in our own minds we can have the self awareness to make changes. Thanks for viewing my article by the way rogueboyguide.com

As I read these many comments it is repeated that our failures should make us humble. Should we consider that our success should be equally a cause for humility? Often that which has been born in trial however many including the creator as brought us through that failure, allowed us to learn from it, and springboard from it to a higher level. It seems to me this is often the mechanism that allows us to rise to a higher level, to be promoted one may say.

That’s one way to look at it. The main point here is that never give success that importance when you cannot imagine a life without one.
Nice thought there.
